Will the IRS ever contact me via email or phone call?

 - The short answer is no.  They will always send all correspondence via paper mail.

When is the deadline to file my taxes?

 - The deadline for personal taxes is April 15.  However, if that date falls on a weekend or after Emancipation Day (a holiday in DC), this pushes the deadline to the next business day.

Can I check my tax refund status?
